Mother's Day Weekend 2009

A one day road trip to Ang's house on Saturday and I got to spend a couple of hours of fun with the kids. Their faces were covered in my brand of lip stick, carmex! Cute bib!
I was sad to leave and yes their beautiful house is for sale.
Grandpa rode up with us to see his niece in the Id Falls hospital and Benon's favorite tree is in bloom. We put flowers on her grave.
I would have taken more pictures but my camera was full after 4 pictures. I need to get the manual out. Grandma John came down on Sunday to visit too. I took a wonderful picture of her too, but, oh wait... my camera was full!

All Growed Up

Katherine and Taurean packed up and are on the road to Kentucky today. Life is pretty good when all your belongings fit in a med size truck. I look at it this way, it is not much to dust.

One of my babies is all growed up, married and is going to graduate school in a far, far away land. I think they are a huge advertisement for Budget! Oh, don't worry about what Katherine is holding, it's just for an emergency.
Hooking up a car in the dark and cold of night is fun! We miss you already! We love you much.

Katherine and Taurean Graduated from BYU 2009

Graduation was held on April 24th. Katherine actually graduated last December but marched with Taurean in his school of Biology! Yea, we are so proud! We ate at the Brick Oven after the big event.

Just to brag... which every mother has the right to do. Katherine graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Kappa Phi in Psychology! And thanks to Katherine I now know how to put pictures on this blog, yea!

Disney World Revisited April 28th 2009

Katherine and Taurean came with Alan and I to celebrate their graduation from BYU.
Abby got off work to come and play with us and show us her life in Florida.
Liz and family met up with us our last 3 days. They stayed in a condo and got a great deal.

Savannah has a new favorite ride in Hollywood Studios, Tower of Terror! I call it child abuse, but she likes it!

Toy Story Mania is a blast!

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and loved it. They have a geyser that goes off every hour just like Yellowstone! Abby thanks for your wonderful discount so we could stay there.

Disney World Revisited

Second trip to Disney World! Just returned and found Mickey still singing and dancing. How old is he anyway! Pictures will come soon or as soon as Katherine can educate me on the finer art of picture posting.

Our Fairy Godmother

Grandma John celebrated her 81st Birthday with a Tea Party for Fairies on March 28th. Every one received a cabbage patch fairy doll. Notice Grandma's fairy cape in background.

Disney World Here I Come!!!

On Monday I am heading off to Orlando to visit Abby in Orlando! She has a few days off, and I decided to go to Florida VERY LAST MINUTE. I just made my reservations earlier this week!

I'm flying all by myself, so let's hope I make it there alive. Abby has told me that she has the whole trip planned out (where we'll be eating, what shows to see, where to shop and most importantly, where to sleep). I'll be staying in the Contemporary Disney Hotel which has monorail access from it's lobby, and a walking path to the Magic Kingdom, which will really save me time-rather than riding busses. Let's just pray I survive the grueling schedule Abby has in store for me.
