When I look out our apartment windows, I see clothes blowing in the wind, always.
They have no clothes dryers in apartments or homes here in the city. First they would have no room for full size washers and dryers like we have in the States. They have small, very small type washers and no dryers.
In the summer, clothes dry really fast on these lines. But when it is humid and cool outside, it takes days for clothes to dry or they bring the wet clothes inside and they are hanging all over your apartment to dry.

It's winter here now so these clothes will be waiting for the sun to shine on them to get them dry!
Luckily, they don't hang their unmentionables out to air dry! Everyday a new batch of clothes to view!
